History of the brand

The Group LEW ltd is an owner of “Dobry Punkt” brand.  All kind of services available on terminals have been developing through Dobry Punkt brand since 2003.

Year 2004

Thanks to positive cooperation with our business partners – Grupa Lew Ltd– developed new IT systems and intensified terminal distribution. Company signed an agreement with Card Point S.A. (card acceptance centre). As a result Grupa Lew enlarged offer to new service – card acceptance. 


Year 2005

In this year company focused on development of sales network. In December 2005 Company achieved level of 1800 active terminals. That kind of expansion has become one of company greatest priorities. Grupa Lew started cooperation with huge wholesalers.


Year 2006

Rapid growth of active terminals followed up to 3500. MCI Investment found which specializes in PE investments from emerging Europe decided to invest on Grupa Lew. Simultaneously MCI become company shareholder.


Year 2007

Growing popularity of pre-paid system encouraged company to spread one’s own retailer network. On May Company introduced a new brand - Dobry Punkt. Number of active terminal’s grown up to 5500. Company concluded partnership agreement with one of the biggest Bank in Poland PKO S.A regard to credit card acceptance in Dobry Punkt network.


Year 2008

Company started preparation to activate its proper clearing system on pre-paid transaction. In cooperation with CKC PKO S.A. Grupa Lew started to perform a new service - payment card acceptance.


Year 2009

Ccertificate obtained for a terminal handling 3 types of services (pre-paid, payment acceptance, bill payments) at the same time and using two peripherals (PINPAD and bar code reader).


Year 2010

Company ccompleted implementation its own HOST system for processing pre-paid ticket transactions; our own info-line and help desk implemented. Grupa Lew started co-operation with mPunkt network, a part of Cyfrowy Polsat group.


Year 2011

Grupa Lew begun implementation of an accounting and trading system known as Soft-Lab from Asseco; the closed-end investment fund MCI sells its shares to Arbux Investments fund; Company established CRM section.

 

Year 2012

 

Another year of intensive development of Grupa “LEW” Sp. z o.o.  A range of services offered through the terminal is continuously developed. The offer is extended to include ​​new types of terminals that allows acceptance of contactless transactions. In the middle of the year Dobry Punkt consists of 9,000 terminals. In July, the company entered a new stage of development and was transformed into a joint stock company.
